That's respectable. If she's putting herself out there, too, and making herself vulnerable to criticism, I respect that. When I write poems, it just comes from a really tender, intimate space, and I assume it's similar for other people. There are some poems I like more than others, some that speak to me more than others, but I kind of feel it's not my place to judge such a personal expression from someone else.

In any case, your message is a good one. And I admire that you're working on handling criticism differently. It seems like even the best, most respected writers in the world have their haters, so there's no pleasing everyone! We have to learn to believe in our own work and not care too much about other people's opinions.
