I think you may have missed the point of this article. Even if Jews are often targeted for hate crimes, does that minimize the suffering of Asian people and what they've had to endure? Why is it okay to downplay the severity of hate crimes against Asians or say that they don't matter because they haven't been victimized as much as some other groups?

And not sure where you are getting your hate crime statistics, but I think you are way off your mark. According to the 2019 data I've seen from the FBI (https://www.justice.gov/hatecrimes/hate-crime-statistics), the majority of offenders (52.5%) are white. Not black.

White supremacy is real and there is evidence of it everywhere. And until we face that, we're not going to come close to ending hate crimes and racial violence.
