Hmm, interesting take. I don't see meat eating as an addiction. When it's framed that way I worry that it adds more judgment and moralistic undertones to the meat vs. meatless debate, and that is part of what I see as problematic about the vegetarian movement.

I'm also curious about your claim that heme iron makes us sick. I have never known or experienced that to be the case but would be interested to see a source for your info. I do agree, though, that even omnivores can be malnourished.
