But what good does it do to label these normal feelings as not healthy or good for us? See, to me, that is an example of toxic positivity. I don't find it helpful to be told that, if I'm feeling anxious, depressed, etc, that it's all in my mind and all I need to do is just let it go. It doesn't work like that for me. I also can't always access meditation when I'm in that state.
You are entitled to your beliefs, but I think it's damaging to say that negative emotions aren't healthy. I've been trying to learn to make space for all of my feelings, positive and negative.
